That worked, thanks! I had to rock it back and forth and then pull up on the handle, beyond the point I thought I had to, and it finally released.

Has anyone had issues getting the front seat back latch to work on the base cloth seats? I can not get the seat back to fold on my new 2019 GT, either side. It feels like the latch will break if I try to lift any harder on it. I can use the lower side latch without issue, but not the seat back one.
