This may or not be the issue I've been having around 2000-3500k RPM with light throttle in 2nd & 3rd gear. Guess I'll have to try and demonstrate the issue at dealer at some point.

Ah, I just received my analysis on my first oil change a couple hours ago. This was just to get a baseline and comparison to Amsoil for next change. 2,600 miles on car. TBN was 6.9 but I think the oil only had a little over a thousand miles on it if the dealer I bought it from did indeed change...

Sorry, thread necro. Having this issue as well. Happens between 2000-3500 RPM. Under light - medium throttle during acceleration. The car gets a bit of a hesitation and it feels like the power is cutting in and out. My initial thoughts were something like detonation or other combustion issue...
