Yeah I’ll still meet you somewhere halfway around Columbus. I’ll pm you a date when I’m free but it may be around a week until this semester is over :computerrage:
If you haven’t already changed your wheels by now, a shorter sidewall will run a bit rougher, but the biggest selling point for me when it comes to having more sidewall (it’s really just having a larger aspect) is traction. A bigger sidewall is able to flex more and offers better traction...
So I’m already running a 305/35/20 NT555R on an 11 inch wheel, but I’ve figured out that my limit in the rain is about 50mph. Any faster and my rear end is doing the J-Lo halftime shimmy :turkey::turkey::turkey:
I’m perfectly fine with this though, as I don’t think I’ll find a better radial...
Yeah I don’t think it’s an option to buy separately unless you come across an eBay, Facebook, or a forum listing. There are gt350 actuators that are cataloged at around $90 but they only offer an open or closed functionality, it won’t work on a GT without a physical switch. Glad I could help!
I’m in Louisville 40245. If you’re in Columbus I could meet you somewhere halfway and call it $300. Just a fair warning though, it sounds like you want to retrofit the active exhaust to your mustang. You’ll also need the electric actuators that move the valves on top of the active mufflers and...
I bought an aftermarket axleback with the active exhaust feature so I'm still using my stock harnesses but I have my stock active exhaust mufflers just lying in storage. Only seen around 20k miles.
It’ll definitely be louder than stock cats. The real question for me is knowing how raspy it’ll be or how much quieter it’ll be compared to a catless setup
I would say maybe around 20-25whp in your scenario comparing peak to peak. Most of the lower end of the rpm range will look very similar but beyond 4500-5000rpm the 3 inch setup really begins to shine. The biggest restriction would be the stock manifold and the neck down 2.25 inch pipes but you...
I’m in the same boat. I’ve got a Flowmaster outlaw catback and just want to have it louder but don’t want to go all out catless. After heard the cars with those setups and I don’t think it’s for me. Been looking at the mak cat deletes but they also include an option with cats. I messaged them...
If you have a GT, then you shouldn’t have to worry about any of that because only the EcoBoost has the active noise cancelling and the fake engine noise through the speakers. The GT’s have sound tubes running from the intake tube to the firewall and into the cabin. It just pumps intake noise. If...
I would try and stay away from any mobile application. What I ended up doing, and what most people probably do, is follow steps very similar to what's mentioned in this thread

I’d agree with you on just going to a shop if it weren’t for the fact that local shops by me wanted $120+ for 10 quarts of full synth 5w-30 :frown: went out and bought a 16 quart pan that day lmao
I’m pretty sure taking off the belly pan won’t let you get your hand up there, because the actual bumper reinforcement sits in between the upper and lower grilles. If the new badge is identical to the old one and has those guiding pins and you want to secure it from behind then I’d say just take...
