Nope! Not that I don’t appreciate the suggestion guys but unfortunately my NVH started immediately upon installing the Steeda Red Diff bushings. Now some people might think it’s mild, or not noticeable and I can understand that. I’m extremely noise sensitive and it’s like a megaphone every time...
I’m not an engineer man so I don’t know but I hear the irs rattling with the stiffer diff bushings, or the gears grinding. I’m going off what other have reported because I have no idea what happened but I know what I hear and it’s annoying for a daily driver. I posted that other tread. It’s been...
So why does Steeda acknowledge that’s a possibility? Why didn’t I have that issue prior to the inserts and why is there a whole thread, which I attached to my last replay dedicated to that exact issue? Check my signature man I have every IRS Steeda product possible I believe and this only...
I know this is an older thread but I installed the red bushing recently and the NVH is immediately noticeable. To the point I’m loosing it since I’m very sensitive to sound. I’m thinking of removing just the rear to see if that helps.
I respectfully disagree because they started immediately after they were installed and Steeda said this has a tendency to happen with certain cars.
my experience isn’t isolated

Yes and no leaking all is good there. All the noise immediately started after the alignment kit and bushing inserts and from what I’ve read I’m not the only one who’s had this issue. It’s definitely the bushing inserts and Steeda to a lesser degree admits this.
The second link won’t load but I don’t see how the BMR kit is any different then the Steeda one and if that’s the case I’m in the same situation. I think your sacrificing performance for daily drivability in the end and then that comes down to personal preference. I’m just really not a fan of...
I used what Steeda had to offer to help stop the wheel hop. It’s an insert that works with the existing bushing with a new bolt. I’m not really familiar with what full bushing you might be referring to...
Good point! I mean the crazy thing is if the factory’s are shot the solution are these pucks so it’s a damed if you do or if you don’t situation. I’m going to remove the rear and see what happens. If I can get rid of the NVH at a red light I’ll be happy. I don’t care about hearing it when I...
Man after my experience I find it hard to believe but that could line up with what Steeda is saying. Everyone’s IRS responds differently. I mean you don’t hear anything extra at gear shifts or at red lights? Mine is at its worst after I drive it hard a little then get to a red light or try and...
Thanks for the info I looked over that thread. So, my cars a 2015 with only 32k on it. I got it in 2019 and only put 6k on it since then. An older man had it before me and he didn’t track it at all. I’ve had the bushings on for 2 weeks now and I can hear the noise like I said at low speeds and...
No, stock driveshaft and stock half shafts with headers and a GT350 rear valance and exhaust. I have a bunch of other suspension upgrades like vertical links, g-trac brace, strut tower brace, front and rear sway bars and Steeda shocks and springs. Maybe the combination caused it somewhere but...
I recently just added the Steeda Red Diff Bushing and their alignment kit to go along with the subframe braces, and bushing support kit. Man I noticed NVH immediately. Did you or anyone else experience this? The noise at low speeds and while changing gears from a stand still in my auto is...
All the Midwesterner’s love the west coast of Florida. Spent 26 great years in Chicago miss everything about it outside the weather and gun violence. I will say in my experience the people on the West Coast of Florida are friendlier then the South Florida area. Just my opinion. The Longboat Key...
What area you guys looking in. I’ve lived all over South Florida for the last 18 years. Moved from Chicagoland area. The quality of life is great here but we have some rough areas as well.
