So to be clear- as i want to do exactly this - you use harness from Maestro to the DSR1 to aftermarket amp, back to harness - which then runs to all speakers?
Does it have to replace the crossover? I would rather use a 5 channel amp. Then I can use the Morel provided crossover for the 3-way fronts as a single channel each, and then send a more full channel to the rears for the 3rd and 4th channel, 5th channel would obvi be the sub.
When doing like this with the DSR and harness, to an amp, Jl Audio amp is only 70 watt per channel - Do I need to run all new speaker wire from the new amps, or could I use this existing wires off of the Factory harness?

Has anyone simply upgraded the speakers and not done all the wiring, amps, DSR, etc. and if so, was it a noticeable...
