I'm well under $500 total so far. As it is, it sounds great, was cheap and it's OEM. If I can get the active part to work, that's just the cherry on top.
2018 Ecoboost 201a with digital dash, auto and safe and smart package.
I have the factory plug and have installed the AE.
I reprogrammed the car to show the AE menu in the cluster hut it does not work and makes it so that the driving modes can not be changed.

I changed the lines of code to have the exhaust mode option in the cluster. It shows, but now I can't change the driving modes and the exhaust modes can not be changed.
Hit a speed bump... The fuse is not there on the 2018. It's a blank area and there's no metal contacts for the fuse either. Essentially, putting the fuse there does nothing.
I'll verify. I ordered the obd module. Just waiting for it to arrive.
The valve on the exhaust is fully open from when it was installed and has remained that way thus far.
So the 2019 Mustang Ecoboost active exhaust and valance swaps directly on to the 2018 Mustang Ecoboost. Only thing left is to get the OBD-II module and Forscan to see if I can activate it via the digital dash.
So the only thing needed to do the swap is the exhaust itself and the valance...
