I tried every combination I can think of... cannot get the top portion of the bracket over the bolt. Cam body is in the way. Just gonna let it sit there, or take it back. This is &@$?! ridiculous why they did it like that. Thanks for all the help, though. :please:
Did you install the 2018+ specific model, with the metal bracket? If so, how did you go about removing the bolt from the Cam Cover (Step 1 in the pdf instructions)? I can’t get mine out. Thanks
Super old thread, but did you ever figure out a specific fix for your situation? In the same boat, but passenger vanity lights don’t work (driver’s side works flawlessly)
I have the same thoughts, however the sound is definitely coming from the front area - sounds like everywhere when it’s at its loudest (dash, glove, door, passenger A-pillar)
Hey guys, been trying to ID this rattle for the past couple of months - I’m at my wit’s end, and about to be DONE with this car. This noise takes all the enjoyment out of driving it. It seems to come when the car is accelerating around 1500-1800rpms, or under load (incline) especially, however...
Not a fan, personally... but make it yours, man. I don’t like RTR grilles (w/lights) either, and I seem to be the ONLY one. If you like them, go for it.
