There's a video of Hellion making 1000hp with thier sleeper kit on pump 93 utilizing the DI side rather than port side. The atomization of the DI injectors help cool allowing more timing to be added without knock. I don't remember if it was a pump swap, injector swap or both. It was more of a...
Yeah, no stored codes. I'll throw my scanner in the car, if it happens again, Roush says to scan it before shutting it off, otherwise not to be concerned.
Just got my Phase 2 up graded cal done last week, I'd say money well spent. I do have a question though, I don't drive this car much, I got a chance today to take it out for a sprint ( Sunny and 40 degrees). I layed into it in 3rd gear (manual car) hit 4th lifted at 100ish and my cel was...
My dealer, get this, trimmed the shudders for the larger LTR. AFTER Roush suggested they just remove them. Wasn't real impressed with thier logic of " we figured we'd leave them cause ford put them there". Lol How about "I want all available air hitting that damn LTR, ALL THE TIME!!!"
Not to get off topic, has anyone purchased the phase 2 tune only? Here's my issue with it, the price difference between the phase 1 and 2 is $95. They told me the tune only was $525.00. How does that make a lick of sense? Both kits have all the same components, only difference is the tune.
I don't mean to side track the thread but you guys using the nguage to monitor iat2's, did you have to get another sensor for it to read them or did you just plug it in. I know to custom tune you need a different sensor, didn't know if you needed it to just read them off the Roush software. Thanks
Roush addressed the heat issue with a larger Low temp radiator (heat exchanger). They've also put parameters in the tune to run the fans more and make it possible to cycle the fans after you shut the car off. It's all helped. Brenspeed did a video and was pleasantly suprised by the power and...
I can verify the this works on my 2018 phase. My pump doesn't circulate but I can attest, the fans are pulling alot of air through the grill. You can feel it. With the HE being in front of the radiator plenty of air is passing through it cooling it. If you run that through the staging lanes...
I called Roush today expecting to give them a what'fer on this whole phase2 upgrade. Instead I was told they will offer the phase2 tune separately once they finalize part number and pricing. Said a week or 2.
I recieved the same info from Roush in and email inquiry. Not selling the phase2 cal seperately at this time. Will move my concerns up the ladder. Kinda a shitty thing to do but my belief is they'll eventually reconsider and sell it separately.
