so you also had a problem with the fitting As well. Shoot maybe Iāll give your remedy a shot and get a nut just in case. Thanks for the heads up and the size nut I could use.
I am about to begin the process of upgrading my brakes on my 2016 GT. I have the brembo fronts and a set of rears that I got as a set. Iāve painted them so will swap out both fronts and rears.
My back only allows me to work on the car for short times. Planning on doing it in two steps. Rears...
Nice GP, i just came back by this thread to check it out. Got mine painted but havent put them on the car yet. Getting ready for a move so will have to wait. Did the rears too. Picked up both sets from Shelby America Takeoffs
Forgot to ask. What āClearcoatā is everyone using to go over the new decals? Want to avoid any yellowing as Iām going With silver stickers over the red calipers
Throw a pic up when you get them on the car. Iām planning on swapping mine out soon. Just waiting on the shields to come in.
Any concern on temperature on those? Are the metal cast colors high temp paint?
Thorn, is that the correct part number for the caliper hardware pack? Looking on RockAuto and the 816a shows for non-Brembo. Did you mean the 225a? Or am I missing something?
Getting ready to tackle this myself. Excellent write up and really helpful with part numbers.
