Thanks again for your input! I usually hit Willow Springs with the Cobra club at the end of this month for the weekend but unfortunately couldn’t make it. I will track with them, one day only, in May. Hopefully 4 to 5 sessions. And I will check the tires after every one.

Mainly Willow Springs as of late. I did run spring mountain at the Shelby bash last month. I really love that track!

While starting the car, press the gas pedal to the floor. It will not start. Let it turn over a couple of times then release the pedal. The car will start without the loud blurb. For a different reason, a Ford technician told me about this. After an oil change, he said it helps pump the oil back...

I do you track my “R” and use the carbon fiber wheels for track only also. For around town I use the P51s along with the regular Michelin pilot super sports which comes on the 350. They are a 35 series tire which sits a little higher, and works well on 11 by 11.5 inch wheels.

My 17R had a similar noise or rattle. It was a loose damper. Make sure both sides are tight.

Take the rear seat delete out and see if there’s anything loose rolling around under there. Three screws and about 10 minutes to check.

Yes, everything on the car is stock except the wheels.

My 2017 GT350R with electronics package weighed in at 3,640 pounds. 1/4 tank of gas, empty trunk, P51 wheels with Michelin PSS tires. With the carbon fiber wheels it should be approximately 25 pounds lighter.

There are about 3000 street miles, and two track days,10- 20 minute sessions on them now. I am an intermediate driver. Thanks for your input!
