Thinking about either laguna pipes or controlling the valves with an arduino unit that connects to gps, closes them at the bridge before 5 then opens at the bridge after 5. I got meatballed twice and once was in 5th going 4k rpm smh. Had to keep it under 3k in 5th which killed my times.

Tried out my new signature wheels and full bmr/steeda suspension at laguna last weekend.

One of them is just skinny and just had back surgery and the others are women so lol. Its just stiff but its nice knowing that when you are shifting hard it wont go into reverse unless you are a complete ape.

Also, I will add if you lack upper body strength reverse is not an option. I have had some friends who tried it and even both hands couldn't put it into reverse so take that into account. My best advice would be to find a Shelby club near you and ask to try someone's shifter.

Used both on track, I still get locked out of 3rd randomly even 1 time on track. It feels very good but super stiff so if you are not a fan of a stiff shifter I would not recommend. Its also short enough that if you are not paying attention it is easy to put it into 3rd instead of 1st taking...

Took my shelby and raced some cars on the way back. I gotta say my stock 350 held its own vs a FBO heads/cam c6 z06 and FBO/Cam/E85 Gen 2 CTS-V. Only 1 or 2 cars lengths at 160 in mexico. Can't wait till I get my mods on.

Yeah one of the main reasons I like the PP1 is the spoiler. The rear looks naked without it IMO. I think I'll just get them to try and throw it in for a little more. Rather pay a little more for less headache of trying to find another one I like. Thanks for the information though.

Interesting, the car is a PP1 so it comes with the spoiler. However the person who ordered the car originally specced the spoiler delete. Do you think its possible to ask them to install one since it is technically a standard option with the package or is that pushing it?
