Ford Dealers and the engine oil issues killed my lust for this car and I wanted it ever since it was debuted. I've since moved on and have a local Ferrari dealer finding my dream car, fuck it.
Yup, every Texas dealer has AD's for R's at MSRP then you call and its 5-30K ADM all of a sudden lol. I'm done wasting my time with Ford. Time is money and my money is going to another brand.
Every dealer I call about an 18 R plays games. I think I'm moving on to another car. I refuse to play these back and forth tactics and drink the mighty Ford Kool-aid.
No problem. He said he would call me when the 2019 R order banks open. He said it sold on sale IIRC. The conversation quickly went to 2019's because the car had a sold sticker on it in the showroom.
Have a lead for you to vet.

They just sold a 2018 R for 5K under sticker and before that it was listed at sticker. Are you vetting with word from GM or salesman?
Well never mind that! The car I found was a white with OTT blue stripes 2018 R for 5K UNDER sticker...I just spoke with the dealer. It sold last night. FML.
The R is the only reason why I'm wanting this car. The base is not an option. It will be tracked and driven lightly on the road, as I have other vehicles for that duty. I know I'll eventually find one at MSRP but at the moment I'm slowing down and trying to be more patient. I really want the new...
We never even got that far. Yeah I know the game, to JJNONES, I have a garage full of toys and know all the tricks. I'm 34, not 18. I just can't stand these arrogant dealers. Most of the cars for sale online are showing ADM and aren't moving. Its the MSRP ad's that you call about only to have...
It wasn't just their website, it was Autotrader as well. They pulled a bait and switch move.
Yeah I was pretty heated in my original posts because they wasted my day with phone calls and games. Now that I've had time to cool off my outlook is to keep saving and either stumble on a MSRP deal or...
No, he said the Kona had markup and "he didn't know why" the ad said $69k. It's all a bait and switch BS game. I'm not pissed they are adding ADM, I'm pissed these dealers are running ads at MSRP and then when you call they say, "let me call you back" and then 10min later you get a call with...
And so we have a trend of douchebags pulling a bait and switch. The following dealers have 2018 GT350R's for sale listed on Autotrader and their own websites for sticker, then when you call all of a sudden they want 30...yes, $30,000 of "market adjustment"... BAHAHAHAHA shove that adjustment up...
Warning to fellow car enthusiasts on the search for a GT350R:
I decided not to wait until November so I'm currently in the market for a 2018 GT350R with cash in hand. I just played the back and forth game with McDavid and they pulled a bait and switch. They had a Kona Blue R listed at MSRP and...
