Thanks MetalCord! I was having this exact problem, not realizing that if you scroll down in the 'About' screen, you'll find your SYNC ESN. I'm currently downloading my complementary update...
My 2018 with 401A definitely has the stitched leather knee pads on both driver and passenger sides. Speaking of quality issues, does anyone else have "bubbling" in the chrome around the shift boot?
Ford used a much more substantial clip on the map housing in 2018+ models. I was certain that I was going to break mine when I tried pulling it down, but I eventually got there with multiple attempts. Use a screwdriver as Acemastr suggested and just put the gorilla touch on it, it will pop off.
I actually just installed one of these in my 2018 GT yesterday, so I don't yet have any experience with using it to drain the oil. However, it's very well made and the install is dead simple.
Count me in as well... I got the ones with the smoked lenses. They should match the smoked LED parking lights I've already installed. I figured that since I'll be removing the bumper cover soon to retrofit the blind spot sensors, it should be easy to replace the reflectors, drill holes and...

My '18 has nearly 10,000 miles on it right now and I've got ZERO issues, no interior rattles, no engine tick, etc. It's my daily driver and I couldn't be happier with it. Just pull the trigger already and enjoy!
I've purchased several overlays from Aliexpress. I've found that the photos on the product pages to be accurate representations of what it looks like installed.
My two favorites are...
Looks like an install well done opengl128. I have a manual as well, so I encountered the same issues with the DSP install. Removing the OBD connector sure would have helped, I wish I would have thought of that! Removing the clutch safety switch is a must, thankfully it's easy to just snap in and...
If you don't have the blue connector in the trunk, I'd strongly suggest you just go with an after market solution. All the time you'd spend to route that complex wring harness from the front of the vehicle all the way across and to the trunk would be better spent just running the necessary power...
Same here; got the call yesterday morning and picked up the harness late yesterday afternoon. It seems like it took forever.
On the bright side, I did get to check out a brand new Shelby Super Snake they just got in, it side tracked me on my way to the parts department. Then I saw the sticker...
