Good point. If you're shooting for 600+ HP, the V8 is ultimately going to be the way to go. If you just want a fun 400 - 500hp daily, the EB will do it for a lot less money.
And how great is it that we live in the day and age where we can talk about "fun 400 - 500hp daily drivers"?
I think it really depends on a couple things:
1) Are you comfortable modding your car?
2) How much value do you place on the glorious sound of that V8 wailing, as opposed to the wimpy sound of the turbo 4?
I went with a fully loaded Ecoboost, including premium and performance packs, and it...
Are the Signature Wheel SV306S in the first image Bronze or Royal Gold? Can I see them in both finishes somewhere? Seriously considering buying a set, these things are fire.
This was exactly the problem...I moved the coolant reservoir so that I could see better, as soon as I looked down, the hot side intercooler hose was completely detached from the coupling.
I reattached and tightened it down, went for a quick drive, and everything was back to normal; until it...
2015 EcoBoost PP, 6 speed, 32k miles, completely stock / no mods yet.
I was on a back road, thought I'd make use of the track apps and time my 0 - 60.
Launched the car, at around 5k rpms shifted into 2nd. Rode 2nd up to 6600 rpms and shifted. While I was shifting, or immediately after, I...
That's an unfortunate lesson that I've learned as well. In theory, many people think it's a plus to get more clutch than they need. In reality, it makes daily driving hell.
I don't mind light flywheels though. The added performance and fun is worth the annoyances to me, but I certainly would...
Personally I'm not a fan, although for some reason I think it looks fine on the GT.
That may be because I consider the GT a muscle car and the EB a tuner car, and any time I see a spoiler raised off the decklid on a tuner car I automatically think "rice"...but whatevs, I'm definitely in the...
Anyone have suggestions for a decent phone mount for our cars? Ideally I'd like to be able to mount it either on the dash or windshield as close to driver side door as possible, but open to any other suggestions.
