Cool. Manual or Auto? My first test drive they only had an auto. It was nice but not my thing really. Then a year later when I was looking again they had a manual and that had me completely.
Is great in stock form apart from being too quiet and having rubbish tryes in the wet.

Just my 2 pence.
I do mixture of school runs around town and then a commute on motorways or B roads to work. Around town MPG is woeful at around 13. But once on the motorway in a very long 6th gear you can comfortably get mid 20's if doing 70. Still low 20's if going a little quicker...
Ooooh, if you do decide to swap then give me a shout as Roush Axle backs are top of my list of exhaust options, closely followed by an MBRP catback system.
Thanks
Mark
Borla Type S sounds very nice but I dont think I will stretch that far with regards to price.
The MBRP looks very nice for the money and is definitely on my mind even more now.

Really liking the sound of that. I was convinced I was going to go for the Roush axle backs and then a H pipe if I wanted it louder, but after hearing the MBRP street in your video I am thinking twice

Sorry to hi-jack this thread but how do you rate the tire stickers?
Been looking into this sort of thing but have not come across these non manufacturer specific ones before.
Thanks
Mark
After 2 months the car is still stock. Constantly looking at exhaust systems and sound clips, and think I have settled on going for Roush axle backs initially and then if I want it louder to then go with a H pipe.
But need to get things done on the house first or the bread knife will divorce me...
Had the car around 8 weeks and am currently getting 17.3 MPG over here in the UK. Lots of crappy town driving to and from school which hammers the economy. As soon as im on the motorway to work though it picks up dramatically (even if going at a decent pace). 6th gear is so long that once...
Lol, im glad you thought it was bit. For a moment I thought there was a big difference in how big cars seem to Europeans compared to Americans.
I like some of the newer Alfa's and thought about the 4C a lot as it is such a stunning looking car and has that raw feel to it. But still have 6...
Are you saying the Challenger is a small vehicle? :)
Golfs are a dime a dozen over here just like the RS3's. Nice cars and very quick but in my opinion they have no sense of occasion.
If I had bought a Golf R instead of the Mustang I likely would have had better fuel economy, a faster point...
Just bad grammar as was supposed to be Shelby stripes in blue (but yes in that metallic blue associated with Shelby cars a lot). Not sure about over in the US but you can get factory stripes on the car which are smaller and fade out, or get the dealerships (or anyone else for that matter) to do...
UK owner here with my S550 that I picked up a few weeks ago.
Loving it so far and have been hankering after a V8 for many years.
Just needs to be louder now :)
Also looking to get shelby blue stripes at some point, but not a massive rush. Just enjoying driving it for now
Thanks Mark...
