Exactly. i was “lucky” The tech was meticulous with his measurements. Since then its been a different car to drive in terms of noise and confidence in the car.

The tech found a number of measurements out of spec and one cylinder was oval shaped instead of round. No exact diagnosis of what the ticking noise is though.

Well its been a while and i did not update what happened on this thread. The car ended up needing a new long block and this was replaced under warranty before the ticking TSB came out back in March/April 2019 I have had 2 oil changes on the new motor. No tick no knock.....so far I hope this...

I get the exact same readings on mine; I had an "old school mechanic" notice it and he thought it was low , From what i know its fine , it fluctuates and seems low but as i am learning there is a new kind of "normal" on the 2018 Mustang GT

Thanks for all of the responses; dealer stated that it tested fine no codes etc etc however they were told to put the gauge in boiling water and then reinstall . The gauge is now working.

From what i was told yes it is only on the PPI cars in the event you want to track the car, I found it kinda by mistake then noticed it wasn't working .....
