  6. Update: 2019 Bullitt Mustang Order Banks Open, 480 Horsepower, Starts at $46,595 MSRP

I can certainly ask. I was initially concerned as well, however after looking into it a bit further, these seem to be isolated to only a few instances (that I can see)... Ultimately Ford sells a ton of mustangs, it stands to reason that if there was a design flaw, they'd fix it sooner than later...
  7. Update: 2019 Bullitt Mustang Order Banks Open, 480 Horsepower, Starts at $46,595 MSRP

You are correct. The chart above shows the 2018+ ratios. The addition below was showing the 2017 and older version for comparison.
  8. 2018 Transmission 6 speed manual vs. 10 speed automatic

I've glanced over a good chunk of these posts but have not read every word... so if I'm echoing what anyone else has said, i apologize... In any case, here is my impression, opinion and experience with the MT82 and 10R80. MT82 - Initial release was riddled with problems; high RPM lock out, very...
  9. Update: 2019 Bullitt Mustang Order Banks Open, 480 Horsepower, Starts at $46,595 MSRP

    - Selling my 2014 Audi S5 (manual trans) - Bullitt will be my daily driver - I've owned a 2001 V6, 2011 GT (auto), 2014 GT (manual) - all convertibles
  10. Update: 2019 Bullitt Mustang Order Banks Open, 480 Horsepower, Starts at $46,595 MSRP

Car History :ford:Just out of curiosity... I'd love to hear some car history from everyone here... - What car are you trading in / selling (if any)? - Will the Bullitt be your daily? - What is your Mustang car history?
  11. Update: 2019 Bullitt Mustang Order Banks Open, 480 Horsepower, Starts at $46,595 MSRP

On the subject of transmissions... I searched high and low for the MT82-D4 individual gear ratios. After reading through the post, I decided to message someone at Ford Performance. They got this to me right away. Those guys are friggin awesome! Previous version of the MT82 is as follows...

Definitely take it in ASAP! They can let you know the in service date too.
  13. The Small Questions Thread

I believe the wheel itself is compatible as far as the splines etc. The issue is that the button layout changed for 2018. If those could be swapped everything should be kosher. Thatā€™s a big if though. I guess you could always sell the wheel if you couldnā€™t get it to work. Let us know!
  14. Update: 2019 Bullitt Mustang Order Banks Open, 480 Horsepower, Starts at $46,595 MSRP

Nice! I ordered on 4/19... I guess that means my dealer didnā€™t put my order in right away! Lol. Just got the VIN yesterday after getting the run around from Gaudin Ford. Confirmed the build date with Ford Performance just now via their live chat. Estimated delivery is 9/17. Itā€™s a ways out but...
  15. The Small Questions Thread

Interesting. I though performance pack was 3:55. Only the V6 got the 3:15
  16. The Small Questions Thread

Yours would have come stock with 3:31 final drive ratio... being a GT auto. Hereā€™s an article from American Muscle. Thereā€™s a chart on the bottom showing the stock gears. https://www.americanmuscle.com/mustang-rear-differential-gears.html
  17. Introduce yourself!!

Hey everyone! Excited to get back into the Mustang scene. I've owned a 2001 convertible as well as a 2011 and 2014 5.0 convertible. Traded the '14 in a couple years ago for an S5 6mt, great car but I miss the muscle. I've got my Bullitt on order and should have it in a couple months.
  18. The Small Questions Thread

Assuming the title isn't branded or salvage, you'll definitely have powertrain warranty left, as it lasts 5yrs 60k miles. Even if the "in service date" was late 2014, you'll have that until 2019. As far as bumper to bumper... The only way that would still exist is if the in service date of...
