Thanks for the help. Something is definitely weird about it. But I am positive I only have 5 gallons. So I guess that is over 1/4 tank. It really doesn't seem like a pressurized issue the fuel just seems like it's over flowing. But I will update when I work on it again.

I am replacing my fuel pump today and when I twisted the locking ring off the pumps housing floated up and fuel started coming up. A lot of fuel. Does tank need to be completely empty to change fuel pump? I only have about 5 gallons in the tank. Is this normal?

I can't find a single OEM FUEL pump for sale. I've found for the 4cylinder. I wonder if they are the same?

I I do not own a power probe unfortunately. So if I tap on it while cranking and it starts spinning what does that mean? That the pump is bad? Or that it isn't getting power?

Hooked up an airline hose as pictured and no fuel came out at all during the start attempt. Fuse looks good. So this seem certainly to be a bad fuel pump. Am I correct?

Is the fuel pump located under the rear seats in the fuel tank? I'll probably just replace that to eliminate it.

Yep I've primed many many times. Been troubleshooting for a while. Fuses all look good.

I can hear the fuel pump priming soni assuming it's working. Early on in my attempts to get it to start the fuel rail pressure was very high (2000+ psi). But I believe in my last several attempts it was reading very low. I'm not sure what it would read.it the system has air in it. I have yet...

Also, don't bother on an AC mount. Just wrap the guage a couple times with electric tape and it will squeeze right in and be secure.
