  1. It is better to be in Normal or Sport mode for the suspension, in cold weather? (or does it even matter?)

HAHA, get winter tires and use the driver modes. Im sure your car has an owners manual with the recommendations in it. I know mine came with one
  2. Put A Hole In My GT350R Hood

No, its a racecar part. you can fab your own drip rails but if you're that worries about it don install it.
  3. First track day...brake question

I back what Honeybadger and Flyhalf said. Both of these guys are my friend and they do know what they are talking about.
  4. “1” or “2”

Twister Orange for me. Both those colors pop but if it was my choice I would do the twister orange. I see VB Mustangs all day long.
  5. Question on Lug nuts

IMHO, if you're going to be removing the lug nuts fairly routinely then trash them and get something such as Gorilla Nuts or equivalent. They will last longer. If youre only taking the wheels off to rotate or change tires then you'll be fine with the OEM. But See video above...
  6. Sneak Peak at Girodisc GT350 rear rotors

Rotors are installed. Test driving today. If you want to see pics follow the link https://trackmustangsonline.com/threads/gt350-rear-girodisc-installed.16485/ It was finally cool enough to hang out in my garage this week so I installed the rear Girodisc rotors on the GT350 last night. Bear...
  7. GT350R Outdoor Car Cover

I have this one for outdoors. I’ve left it on my car over night at Sonoma, which get a lot of moisture over night and the car was completely protected. My only complaint was since the cover was damp I had to wash it as soon as I got home since I had to roll it up right away. But that a small...
  8. Sneak Peak at Girodisc GT350 rear rotors

Your are going to save a few pounds. I haven't weighed them and the stock rotors as of yet since its too hot to be in my garage. They will last anywhere from 2 to 4 times longer than the OEM rotors since they are made out of a better quality steel. They do provide some better cooling but I...
  9. Sneak Peak at Girodisc GT350 rear rotors

Here is a peak at the new Girodisc GT350 rear rotors. These are the prototypes. The production ones should be ready in about 4-6 weeks. Till then enjoy and I will do a full write up when I install them. Have a great 4th of July weekend
  10. Advice on replacement of OEM Wheels

Thes Both of my sets are 19” R spec. They are substantially lighter that stock. The tires I have on in this pic are the stock Michelin sport cup 205/35/19 front and 305/19/35 rear. If you go that route they can make the wheels to your specs.
  11. Advice on replacement of OEM Wheels

I wouldn’t get the Project 6G in a 19”. The brake caliper and rim barrel clearance is very tight and you calipers will get scratched up pretty bad. I have two sets of Signature wheels, I attached a picture of mine with the SV503 set on it. I also have the SV501 for track duty and they look damn...
  12. Must do's before tracking

I’d just upgrade the brake fluid and run the car as is. It’s going to be fine and then make adjustments / upgrades as you feel necessary. You won’t need brake cooling, but you might want to install springs and CC kit if you car doesn’t already have it.
  13. Advice on replacement of OEM Wheels

99.8% positive feedback. I think you’re just over thinking this. If they are OEM and refinished what’s the problem? But I keep asking myself. Why waste your money on boat anchors when there are lots of other and better options out there? In the end it’s your car and do what makes you happy...
  14. Rear Differential service

I replace my rear diff, trans, and brake fluid annually but I also track my car. If your using it for street duty only then go by the manufacturers intervals. And FYI - I wouldn't wait 30K for an air filter replacement. Those things like to suck in air like a Dyson vacuum.
  15. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I do not. I am horrible about taking before pics. But the bumper wasn’t even attached to the clips on the left side. So it was just hanging there
  16. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Fixed that damn rear bumper gap best as I could without doing any mods or cutting anything besides using a small washer as a shim. Definitely was not as hard or complicated as people made it out to be.
