Rev9 is a highly respected manufacturer/seller in the Miata community (where I come from). Quality products and excellent customer service, too. He stands by his products. Go on any Miata site and you'll hear nothing but praises.
There are several apps that are out that are so much easier to capture telemetry than the several steps involved mentioned. Harry's Lap Timer is one. Track Addict is another.
Update: Just bought a few things for the build. Summer's coming up and it's autocross season, so I figured I better get the intercooler.
Ended up getting the MAPerformance IC direct from the website which has a nifty coupon (SPRING5) worth $27 off. (Also used the Affirm loan to spread the...
PCA is hosting autocross at BB&T Center in Sunrise, Sunday, May 13th (yeah yeah, Mother's Day, whoopty do). They have guaranteed 8 runs and so far only 33 registered, may get more runs. (But let's not get greedy.) :)
So far just 2 mustangs (me and a 93 foxbody), Porsches, miatas, and WRXs.
Just picked up my 2015 EB with Performance Package a few weeks ago. I must say I've always been a "V8 or die" mustang fan, but after driving this slightly modified EB I was sold on the idea.
I honestly couldn't afford the lower mileage GTs because I was several thousand upside down on my...
Sebring
Went to Sebring Int'l Raceway this weekend to autocross my new-to-me 2015 EB PP 6MT. It handled really well on the sticky concrete and surprisingly well on new Nexen N7000s (350 treadwear, lol).
Gotta say this car is a vast improvement over the 2010 GT Track Pack I formerly owned.
Well, Sebring was awesome. We got 8 runs in only because it started pouring it's a** off there, and they had to bring the timing equipment in. (We were going to get another 8 runs in after lunch but oh well.) We then got "fun runs" after it dried off a bit. So some people did several of those...
Yes it's mainly based off number of registrants. On one instance where there were over 115 registered, we only got 4 runs. At $45-50 and spending all day (8+ hours) in the blazing sun, it just wasn't worth it.
I've been to events where there were less than 60 registered and we got 8 runs. PCA...
Sorry I have autocrossed several times with both clubs and I disagree with Billy. ER tends to have 75-100 and over 100+ registrants and less runs than PCA, which caps their events to 75. I have also found PCA to be very welcoming to us non Bavarians. I'm doing autox with them this Saturday at...
Reviving an old thread, but went on Shaftmaster's website and they don't have the DS for the S550 EB anymore.
Too bad, will have to get the Driveshaft Shop one off American Muscle, $850 and has the plate which can lead to noise/vibration.
