What is the plan for a supercharger kit for the 2018+ Mustang?
I see that the Petty Mustang has an Edelbrock kit. Did they just use the same kit for the 15-17 GT or did Edelbrock work with them in developing a kit for the 2018?
Lol.... I just installed an x pipe on my 18 GT and it's borderline annoying. Mostly embarrassing :headbonk:
I remote start the car with the garage door shut because of the noise when the engine is cold.
I think I need to come up with a better solution. Good thing I kept the stock resonator.
I don't think anyone buys a Mustang looking for reliability and comfort.
I'm not saying that the car is neither but it's more of an emotional purchase  rather than a rational one.
Did it have 87 octane in the tank?
Mine had a misfire on cyl 8 with about 120 miles on it. Still on the original fuel fillup from the dealership.
I cleared it after refilling with 93 octane and now have about 300 miles on the car.
But your car shutting off sounds like it's more than just an...
I had a misfire for cylinder 8 when I first bought the car. It still had the 87 octane from the dealer.
Since then, I have only used 93 octane and everything is good.
My 16 had the rear view mirror with thicker edges. The 18 has almost a frameless design, very thin on the edge.
If I'm traveling fast and put my finger on the back of the mirror, I can feel the vibes.
I'm wondering if it is drivetrain related or maybe something to do with exhaust resonance...
I had a 16 Base GT that I thought was fast. Then I bought the 18 GT Premium 401a with A10 trans....wow. Night and day difference.
The power increase is apparent but I think it's the trans that makes the biggest difference. The car always seems to have power to spare. I can't imagine what it...
I have the 18 GT Premium with the Safe and Smart package which comes with a different style rearview mirror than what I had on my 16 GT Base. It has the lane watch camera on the windshield.
Anyway, around 75-80 mph the mirror begins to vibrate to the point that everything is blurry. The car...
I had the CEL with only 125 miles on the car. The code was for Misfire Cylinder 8.
I cleared the code myself since the car still had the 87 octane that the dealer filled up with. It could be because I had done a few full throttle pulls the night before.
Anyway, I have since refilled with 93...
Possible that the brake fluid got hot and boiled out past the seals. Best to take it to the shop.
Probably don't want to mention the part about autocrossing. Let them look at without any preconceived notions. It might just be defective.
I removed the sound tubes on my previous 2016 GT and my new 2018 GT.
The easiest way is to disconnect it from the intake hose and then yank the whole contraption out by pulling forward and up at the same time. Don't bother with the nut.
The plastic/rubber mounting tab on the sound tube will...
