PM me for information. Sadly, I sold my GT350. :( Thanks!
Perhaps just conspiracy theory, I wonder if the change from the canister to cartridge oil filter from 2016 to 2017 may contribute to some of the engine failures. The original canister FL2069ST filter in 2016, was specific to the GT350. When they switched to FL2062 cartridge style which is a more...
I assume they must have used some grease to "push in" the bushings, however it's probably not nearly enough. This is quite an oversight in the instructions and their website. I am sure there are many people out there who have purchased these out there and am running them ungreased.
I have tried...
Are these links pre-greased at BMR or do you need to take them apart or use the zerk fitting to grease them before installation? Looking at the instructions, disassembly or initial greasing is not specified.
Great build HB, and thank you for providing a resource for us GT350 owners.
How is the quality of the Mishimoto radiator? I was reading on various forums (including another thread on this one) that some people have issues with poor welds sprouting leaks. How well did it bolt up/align with the...
Since when is having a Mustang with a F355 engine in it a bad thing? Ford reverse engineered a 458 Italia engine when embarking on the GT350 project. So, if it feels like a Ferrari, I would say that is mission accomplished.
The GT350 is polarizing in its appeal, especially to traditional...
Agreed. That range seems more appropriate for a forced induction car. The new 2020 GT500 spark plug gap stated in the owner's supplement is .037"
If it is a typo, it's in the 2020 GT350 owner's supplement as well. Does anyone know a Ford tech or have access to the workshop manuals for the...
I decided to pull my spark plugs out for inspection on my 2016 GT350. There was no spec quoted in the owner's manual or the supplement. When I measured my gaps, they were in the .050" range, which is about what the 5.0's spec is. Otherwise, the plugs seemed to read well as in dry...
