I went PMAS Lund ngauge 91 tune and MBRP pro H + catback the car rips like crazy now but regular driving totally docile and still averaging 22 mpg overall. How crazy is that! All new staggered Indy 500s with 25mm spacers front/back. Various upgraded LED blinky things. oh yeah and groovy...
still haven’t touched this project. just pO’d at that other guy still who basically offended and insulted anyone who decided to mod their car. just ruin the fun of discovering this site.
I await the new CAI (and Hilo race park reopen) patiently! will go for a 91 tune as E85 costs more here plus not widely available like 91 is. I want the VVT tune for fun too why not it’s there and can turn it off. embrace technology lol
dang that intake looks so good though and probably sounds tits WOT. i would want a complete matched suspension not just springs so would just keep saving. did the spring only thing once and hated the ride. but isn’t the stock airbox pretty good? maybe just get a tune and ngauge is best bang...
i told a guy filling a white vert “hey nice mustang!” :) and he just scowled and grunted “it’s a rental” :( I’d be unhappy leaving here too so left him alone. that was actually the second time got reaction like that. maybe they thought i was going to ask for money or something. not car people...
very cool mod you have with the valve though I like it a lot!
So a drop in K&N should produced more sound? I put an aftermarket CAI with a closed box + cone filter on my truck and like the sound so much I don't even want a catback - just hear the engine like that and it doesn't even need a...
my car is so quiet I don't even hear this sound tube thing. it's like it has a different exhaust or something because I watch all the videos of fairly loud but stock cars and when I'm driving it's just too dang quiet I don't get it.
there's a guy making a sound tube "loudener" kit but that's...
honestly, no clue as no svc manual and was winging it. I put the new one on like a spark plug "just so". the new bolts come with a spot of thread locker.
Got it! Can’t wait to drive with new wheel
Ooh can I buy one bolt!
I’m thinking these may be use once and discard item. Like they stretch once torqued on install so might be taking a risk if reuse? I removed the wheel a second time because had to redo one of the spring clips for the horn. It was the third retighten when it snapped.
I just found out that it begins with the original purchase date of the vehicle so changing my plan for the longest term which is 8 years. Limited use vehicle so less mileage covered and that keeps price down to a very reasonable amount I thought considering what future repairs might cost. Now...
I wouldn't worry about it. If/when it comes time to change the wheel and now you know it snaps off then drill and use an extractor. But whatever you do order and get the baggie of bolts first! :D
The extras am going to store with the original wheel in case someday goes back to stock. Once they...
That bolt is on national backorder so whatever y'all do, don't overtighten and snao it off! no clear eta either, best guess from parts is 3/30 :( also comes in pack of 4 minimum, luckily they're only a couple bucks each. I would not put any locktite on it if you plan on changing the wheel...
