  1. Is it me? Have used GT350 price jumped up lately?

I was about to post this info and this graph lol. It aint here to stay, IMPO. But I dont have a crystal ball, so anyone's guess is as good as mine. I started looking at GT350's this week. Admittedly I look at them every 6 months or so and havent pulled the trigger yet, but one day I will...
  2. Replaced Voodoo Engine

I have owned many of those engines you note as well, haha. (Minus the A4 and the M96 and whatever the other Porsche engines were called that had the IMS issue) And thats actually my point... the manufacturers and/or the aftermarket came to the rescue and these issues were WELL documented...
  3. Replaced Voodoo Engine

Sorry, I must be missing something? I am not here to troll, I've driven this car numerous times and love them. I am looking to switch up cars again soon, so i was hoping we had some idea what the inherent issue with this engine is. I have no problem buying a car with inherent issues, all...
  4. Replaced Voodoo Engine

Getting the itch again to buy one of these... Is the inherent issue that's causing blown engines still a mystery? Thx!
  5. Replaced Voodoo Engine

. I don't get this logic. Porsche did it, as I pointed out... And this wasn't because people were blowing engines. The gen2 is way too young for us to know, and yeah man I totally agree I hope it fixes the issues so I can buy a 2019 in a couple years. I love these cars. Regarding the...
  6. Replaced Voodoo Engine

Well, I still think they should be extending the warranty, as this issue is obviously very prevalent. Have you looked into extended power train warranties? What are they running? Also yeah the dealership support I read about here is pretty pathetic. I do agree that's its not on Ford to tell...
  7. Replaced Voodoo Engine

I'm not here to debate anyone's buying decision. It's a fantastic vehicle and that's why I'm here. But I make it a point not buy vehicles that I have no clue of their inherent issues, at least when they are engine related and in this case, catastrophic.
  8. Replaced Voodoo Engine

Lol. Dude many parts of Europe have just as bad, or worse roads than we do. Every single car had inherent issues. My Toyotas/Lexus have less than most. My M BMWs often have more, lol. I've dealt with rear subframe reinforcements in 3 BMWs, haha. Its what you accept in a car... IMO. I...
  9. Replaced Voodoo Engine

You're combining two issues. The first issue you describe effected 700 something cars (don't feel like googling) and Porsche told the owners not to drive them and replaced them right away. The warranty wasn't applied until 2017, as a result of misfires at high RPMs. Iirc it was some sort of...
  10. Replaced Voodoo Engine

Whoa this is pretty eye opening... In a few ways. I've owned many performance cars, and a lot of these engines have inherent issues... It's often the name of the game. I'm not a mustang guy but I've always loved the S550 platform and almost pulled the trigger on a GT350 about 18 month ago...
  11. How come no PP2 on the build site for Mustang?

Don't have a good answer for that. If I get a 2019 PP2 will I have to wait forever to have it built?
  12. How come no PP2 on the build site for Mustang?

Does that mean you cant order a 2018 past X date, which will be less than 1 month away? Thx.
  13. GT350 NADA Valuation

Theres brand new 17's floating around for ~4k under retail... OP's "retail" NADA value, and black book for that matter, are way off. I'm surprised NADA trade in was 50k... as I dont think that car would sell for more than 45k at auction. Its a weird time for GT350 values right now. I cant...
  14. PP2...........starting to appear at dealerships

I was researching this topic and saw a post of yours from 2013 from another forum, do you have the ratios for s550s as well? That being said, I didn't say they were longer than a GT, I wasn't necessarily comparing... The additional torque of the Coyote (theoretically) makes it more usable/fun...
  15. PP2...........starting to appear at dealerships

Nothing ford did with the GT350 reinvented the wheel. Its really a question of what they brought over to the PP2, or didn't. Ford changed the front kingpins on the GT350 because of the wider wheels, which was a nice little engineering move, from my understanding. I agree, doesn't seem like...
  16. PP2...........starting to appear at dealerships

I don't think we necessarily know that yet. Different springs, suspension tuning, ride height, magneride tuning... And how did Ford deal with the wide front wheels in the PP2? Same parts as the GT350? I cant find it documented yet. I don't think they brought over the rear control arms and...
  17. PP2...........starting to appear at dealerships

I understand being skeptical of a Houston car, but I don't think looking at an area within 200 miles of you is really a fair way to judge the market as a whole.
  18. PP2...........starting to appear at dealerships

I'm very interested to see how the PP2 compares to the GT350. Call me crazy, but I'm more interested in the suspension setup in the GT350 than the voodoo. 2nd and 3rd are so long in that car, 3rd isn't even that usable on any normal back road. The updated Coyote in an 'almost there' GT350...
  19. PP2...........starting to appear at dealerships

I would only buy a track pack car. That being said, you certainly do not have to pay 57k to get a 2016 track pack.
  20. PP2...........starting to appear at dealerships

I've been watching these cars intently for 4-5 weeks, after initially considering one a year ago. Although I think the market is starting to weaken, I dont see clean cars below 47k or so. I search nationwide. I think it takes 48-51k or so to get something nice and clean, unless you are...
