No I never did. I think even though Roush say it's a direct replacement without a tune, I think a tune is still ideal to work around issues such as this. That said, I've since had the car tuned by 2 different tuners (PBD in US and MAP in UK) and both displayed this particular issue on very rare...
Just an update to say I can confirm that the WFS400 has fixed my battery flattening issues. 1 week parked in the driveway and I can start the car first time, which was always a problem when I already had low battery! I've lost count how many times I had to jump start it now. For that...
No features lost. In fact, the various functions (pin entry routine, service mode) etc are much easier on the WFS400, the 'immobilised' indicator when you open the door when stopped is a nice addition, the indicator to say the pin was successful is now immediate rather than a second or so delay...
Following on from my previous post. I discussed the issue with the vendor and they suggested a few alternative program codes. The compatibility document suggests 11867 for a '2015+ Mustang' but after trying a number of them, I can confirm that 12785 in fact is the working code, which is...
It's installed (I had to splice into an additional CAN connection as the WFS400 has a redundant connection), but unfortunately it's not behaving correctly. I've reached out to Ampire to see if they can help. Fingers crossed! :-/
See video demonstration of the issue:
This is getting installed today :) I'm just about to boot it up on my workbench and see if I can program it first. I've been having my battery run flat on multiple occasions which has forced me to install a non-bluetooth version of the immobiliser.
Yes definitely a roll on type. My guy couldn't get 6 of the 20 or so bolts clocked though. He couldn't get enough clearance for the rear upper control arms or 2 on the front (I forget which - I'd have to check the diagram, but it was due to clearance with the wheel).
He said he spent an hour at...
I tried to get under the car today with some new ramps I purchased - it was possible to re-torque some of the bolts with the space and angles I was dealing with, but not enough of them that it's worth doing myself. I've booked in to get the car up on an alignment 4 post lift for everything to be...
Already figured this out even though none of the instructions mentioned this. It seems the left rear of the car is still raised relative to the other corners. I've purchased 2 ramps that are arriving tomorrow which should allow me to do this. I've been driving the car since noticing this. Do you...
@SteedaTech
I had the same issue when I came to install the Steeda Magneride lowering springs. The front suspension didn't seem to have bump stops and the rears seemed difficult to cut, so I just decided to not touch them. Are the instructions incorrect? Am I meant to trip either of the front...
Here's my V5C. You can see that my car is Euro 6 and not Euro 6.2. Also note the exhaust emission stats. There was someone on Facebook (I forget who) who had different stats, even though his car was produced at around the same time. I'm curious what everyone else is seeing?
