Being realistic, Ford won’t use an Engine as powerful or even more powerful than the Raptor in an Explorer, maybe IF the last name were RS instead of ST I would see it possible.
The Edge Sport has a 2.7L at 315 already and the ST makes up to 335HP so it was a bump of 20HP. I don’t see the “Explorer ST” having more than 400HP honestly.
Sorry victory-rc but it looks you misunderstood my comment and didn’t get my point. Let me clear myself:
The OP posted a picture (which I replied to) of the “numbers” for the 2019 Camaro SS. Right at the bottom it says “target 1/4 mile: 11.50 seconds”. What I said it’s that IS NOT POSSIBLE that...
So... does that mean that the engine will have that type of curve or you’re only saying that it will likely be torque limited during the first 2 gears?
Come on Bmac, throw us a bone.... you already gave us a hint with the Horsepower..... now, what about the Torque? In order to achieve that...
Maybe the change between the 2020 and 2021MY is like the change we had between 2009 and 2010, just squeeze a facelfit before (since there was no facelift prior 2010).
Who knows....
If the mustang gets updated in the same way it was updated on 2010 it's fine by me, same platform, same...
