  1. 2020 Mach 1!

If a Ford product with a Mach 1 name plate ever rolls out of a factory that isn’t a Mustang sports coupe, I will @&$#% buy a Camaro or a Challenger. I am not alone. There are many thousands of Mustang fans who feel the same. You people who inhabit the Ford executive suite take heed. You’re...
  2. Official Performance Pack Level 2

I’ll be curious to see what Ford does with PP2 in MY19. If the GT350 goes away to make space in the Mustang lineup for the GT500, then there might be some chance that the GT350’s transmission and differential coolers will become part of an expanded feature list for PP Level 2.
  3. One last question before order

I’d think the shaker system will add the most to your enjoyment of the car.
  4. Color combo help before ordering

Go black with a red interior and then do either red Le Mans stripes or do the matte black stripes with the red accent pin stripe (as per the kind you can get with the G350R).
  5. S650 cancelled?

Given the constituency that Ford knows that the Mustang has (and for whom they have said that they bent over backwards trying to “get it right” with the design and development of the S550) it makes very little sense to me that Ford would choose to forgo the enormous profits to be had from the...
  6. A/S tires for a 2018/2019 PP & Magneride equipped GT?

It would be nice if there were more all season tire options for the 305/30R19 rubber that’s part of PP2.
  7. MMR Dissects the new 2018 5.0 Direct Injection engine

I’d like to imagine the same 5.0 TT in a Mach 1. :)
  8. 2018 6 speed manual

We’ll have to install a Steeda “thread bracket” to keep the conversation from shifting inappropriately. ;)
  9. 2018 6 speed manual

I like the look of the analog gauges and billet metal trim in the cockpit of the Pagani Huayra. However, there is no way in hell I’d ever be able to afford that ride. I think the 2018 Mustang cockpit, particularly in 401a trim, looks terrific and certainly not over “technified” (if I can just...
  10. 2018 6 speed manual

So I expect someone else may have asked this before... but what’s to stop Ford from putting a 6-Speed Tremec into 2019 and later model year Mustangs (besides the special edition versions like the GT350 and GT500)? Is it just down to the relative cost of the respective units and what that adds to...
  11. 2018 Mustang Performance Package Level 2 (PP2) "Tremor Package" Contents Revealed

My apologies, folks. I may have been misled. Top Speed had their own list of “what makes PP2 special”. https://www.topspeed.com/cars/ford/2018-ford-mustang-gt-performance-pack-level-2-ar178032.html Their list is as follows: New Front Splitter And Rear Spoiler New Lightweight Wheels...
  12. 2018 Mustang Performance Package Level 2 (PP2) "Tremor Package" Contents Revealed

While this is admittedly trivial, I sort of have morbid curiosity about what the “custom graphics” part is of the PP2 deal. Hopefully it isn’t a great big “TREMOR” decal pasted across the hood or the rear quarter panels.
  13. '18MY Roush TVS2650 install

Looking forward to seeing how this goes. The Ford Performance/Roush R2650 supercharger seems like a perfect addition to a 2018 Mustang GT premium equipped with performance package level 2. :)
  14. Premium fuel or Regular? GT Coyote V8

By the way, I also voted “pie” - mmmmmm delicious pie. ;)
  15. Premium fuel or Regular? GT Coyote V8

On a slightly different topic will we ever again have a Mustang whose fuel tank holds 22 gallons? Or anything more than the typical 16 or so gallons?
