I second this setup. I've have my fair share of exhausts and I will stick with this one. The track is loud, but plenty of drone. The touring is just as loud when you get on it, but no drone and can be quite if you want. Definitely my favorite setup so far and a quality built piece.
I installed the GT350 rear valence and removed the fake tips.
Purchased an "AWE Touring Edition Cat-back Exhaust for 15-17 S550 Mustang GT - Quad Outlet - Diamond Black Tips (GT350 Valance)" directly from them and it fits perfectly and sounds great with no drone.
I'll try and upload some...
I'm a huge fan of GTechniq. They have a pretty full kit here: https://usa.gtechniq.com/products/auto/master-detailing-collection
You will just need a polisher, lots of time, and a few other minor tools and you can coat everything in your car easily. Their stuff is super easy to work with and...
I've got the AWE Touring and Track. The track is pretty loud and boomy in the cabin, so I bought the touring axle back and its much better for DD. AWE is top quality stuff too. Highly recommend them.
I saw somebody modify their 15-17 exhaust to fit their 18. He had to change most of the hangar locations by taking them off, re-welding, and bend them into correct placement.
I don't think they are a simple compatible swap from my one experience.
Did you get them installed? I just put them on along with the GT350 valence and it was 3 pins to hold it. 2 existing and 1 on the new valence. However my buddy at Ford said they have a bracket for the bottom pin for those who don't have the GT350 valence to secure it properly.
False alarm! He quoted me the repair part. I was told the accessory version is a little under $500 out the door... Quite a bit better
He also told me the GT500 wing should be available 2-3 months after it releases but is in the system as a repair part for 11.5k
