In my experience with them, if you aren' t prepared to wait at least 2 months before starting to worry about it, i wouldn't do business with this company. I think they are buying the parts from China and the whole world is jacked with Corona right now so 2 months is probably conservative.
Has anyone ordered from https://carbonplug.com/s550carbon ?
I bought a matte carbon coin tray a few years ago from them. It took about 6 weeks to get it but the quality was nice. Now I am looking at their PP gauge dash kit which is not inexpensive. I just don't want to get burned or wait 3+ months.
This is my first DSP but from my research one of the very best. Check 'Car Audio Fabrication' on youtube for tons of reviews of this and other AudioControl products. Not cheap however.....
Mine has a switch as mentioned. I think I got it on amazon. I will hunt for the link.

It is going to be difficult to get any level of a sealed enclosure on the door panel. I think my third phase of this install is going to be custom pillars with both mid and tweeter together.
Iām using a JL c-7 in that spot which fits tight already and itās 3.5 inch. Rabbit hole or not, a DSP is a highly worthy investment, especially if you have audio knowledge which you seem to have. Iām using AudioControl Dm-608
Wow! So much bad information here! A few of you should STOP handing out your detailing āsecretsā.

I didnāt take any pictures. I used smaller pieces and tried to avoid areas that was going to make the door panel installation more difficult. Iād say I got about 70% coverage on the doors overall. I used Noico brand from Amazon.

Check out my build for ideas. Iād say DSP is most valuable thing overall for great sound.
