Thanks! I was worried about stone chips at first but seeing both Mander's and Steve's at recent meets/shows persuaded me. Next step might have to be some paint protection film just in case
If you havenāt already, make sure you back up your āseed phrasesā in a couple of secret locations!
Iāll see if I can make it to the cruise tomorrow, last time I turned up too late! It will be nice to have a last drive out before I strip it down and send the plastics off to be painted next week.
Iāve found myself on the Facebook Groups more than the forum since the interface is easier to for posting pics, replying to people, etc.
I went to the last Howden meet after missing the previous one due to a holiday. Are you still this side of the Atlantic or have you moved for work yet...
Just minutes after after installing my Roush Axle backs I was already wanting to turn up the volume a little more, so I recently had a custom H-Pipe fabricated and installed. Here's some driving sound clips I recorded today:

I've been a follower of this thread since I bought my Race Red Mustang, but I'm finally happy enough with how its looking to share some pics!
Visually I'm about done, but I can't decide whether to go for a little spoiler? I can't find one that 100% suits my taste, but the Steeda Q-Series...
I used a spray can of Simoniz gloss black high temp engine enamel I had for the discs and rear calipers, and a Foliatec Caliper kit for the fronts.
Spraying is easier but takes more masking, whereas brushing requires less masking but takes longer and the finish isnāt quite as good. The...
I freshened up my brakes with gloss black to the discs to rear calipers, then something a little different for the front... White Brembos!
I ended up with a couple of runs on the Brembos, but I'm happy with the finish overall. Spraying the rears was much easier than painting the fronts with a...

This will be the first time Iāve tried the Glossifier though so that will be interesting. It should help seal in the white vinyl...
Thanks! The more I look at the chrome pony and 5.0 badges the more I'm tempted to leave them, since they do tie in with the exhaust tips... But I've already bought the Plastidip + Glossifier! That stuff is removable at least, so I'll do it and then decide
Thank you to everyone who participate in this thread, I thought I'd resurrect it to show you all my decision and the final result!
I went with option 3, which just so happened to be the most popular vote, which might have influenced my decision a little :D
I'm really loving my Mustang's new look!
My Mustang earned its stripes!
I went for black GT350 style stripes with the white pinstripe design, but with GT500 inspired widths of 10 inches, so I guess that makes my car a GT850..?
Other details include wrapped mirrors, headlight corner tint, dechrome window trim and red reflector tint...
