Honestly, there's so many "how to's" for buying cars, I'm confused. Want it simple.
-->>NEED Advice/Help in how to buy this car: 2018 GT
**Is this a fair price and HOW WOULD YOU approach dealership for a better price? **
Or should I wait for a 2019...no BBQ Tick? ;-)
SIDE-BAR: Yes, I did...
Interesting. However, won't I loose real $$ value by waiting?
I figured now is the time to get the best cash back and use that towards a '18 automatic.
Thoughts?
(Also, never heard of X-Plan...I'll check it out. Thanks!)
PRICE UPDATE: $35,000
**I listened to what y'all wrote and I needed to bring the price down.**
I may still have to bargain a bit...make me an offer! :D

Beginning to wonder if the sell vs. purchase price would be so far off that...
...it would just be cheaper (??) to install an automatic transmission.
Thoughts??
(At least I'd be able to keep the car.)
Well, I'm thankful for everyone's thoughts, but due to my back injury, I have to sell. (So sad!) :brokenheart:

For those who've not seen my first thread, I hurt my back and can't use a clutch anymore. :( CLICK HERE.
Year: 2017
Make/Model: FORD MUSTANG GT
Trim: Performance Pack
Color: Magnetic Grey
Transmission: Manual (The only reason I have to sell.)
Mileage: 925 miles. (Yep, that's it. Stays in the...
No, thankfully, I didn't get Recaros....however...
I'm just wondering if more of my problem is the seat!
Could I be straining my lower back by getting my butt in those "wrapped" seats?
(I know your asking the question...I do NOT have a big butt.:D)
With all the great responses...I "shifted gears" to the Transmission section...
...and a discussion on making the clutch really light, if possible.

Thanks everyone! :clap2:
My very first post was yesterday...

...and the responses have been awesome so...
I've searched the site :search: and found topics regarding clutch springs, etc., but the replies from other threads were sometimes contrary and now I'm...
First, I'm grateful for everyone's input. I'm listening to all of you.
It's true, the doc said I'll probably get "better" but the constant uneven pushing of the clutch causes rotational changes in the disk. Overtime, not just a single push, is what adds up to injury. A normal disk would not...
....plus this? -->
Anyone know if the Clutch Pedal Extension and a new heavier spring would "lighten" the clutch travel, feel, etc.?
https://www.americanmuscle.com/sr-clutch-pedal-extention-9416.html
I really don't want to sell such a cool car.
(Heck, I've never had a car that...
Ok, used the search function :search: and found a bunch of clutch spring related threads. And, yes, the Steeda would be too light...so I need a spring even heavier than stock, right?
Can you guys point me to a really HEAVY spring? Where would you look?
(Oh, and thanks everyone! Y'all have...
Well, first time I've heard that one...wish I knew that BEFORE I hurt my back. :D
Either way, I can't drive it right now anyway. She's just sitting in the garage.
Well, I just called my dealership and he says he going to "look" for GT. This is going to be a long-shot...plus, I hate the idea of what this is going to cost.
I'm not holding my breath.
I appreciate the direction, but the doc says I have to stay away from a clutch...permanently!
Ugh, I hate this. I love changing gears manually. They just don't like me.
Doc says I can recover, but pushing a clutch will only aggravate and bring it back.
So, looks like a manual is out for me. :brokenheart:
I don't supposed there's a mod for making the clutch easy as the brake?
