Alongside general servicing for the car, I got my manual transmission fluid replaced (with Liqui Moly). It has certainly helped with the shifter feel, it goes a little more smoothly with more positive action now!
I tried the Carsales instant offer for giggles back in May. Punching in some generic details about my car, their offer was $48k (which no doubt they would try to reduce upon an actual inspection of the car).
It always interesting to see what the market can bear. Personally for me the offer...
Oh seriously, I just got my kit installed literally last week and thought I could put away the topic of risk of failure on the stock part with peace of mind. Now I may potentially be back to square one and foot another bill?! 😡
I was originally buying the MRR M350s through MyStangMods, however the manufacturer was taking a significantly long time to produce the ones I was looking for (Gunmetal Grey in 19s) so I switched over to SVE S350s. They are the same design/a replica, and turned out to be a bit cheaper too...
That sounds like a pain, being a hold-up becuase of only a few bolts. Im afraid I didn't get any spares, otherwise I'd send them your way.
Hopefully that gets sorted for you soon!
I got the Harrop Oil Cooler fitted yesterday, so no more worrying about potential mix-up of oil and coolant lines.
It's just a bit hard to take a photo of the finished product without the undertray off though!
I actually purchased via MyStangMods - bit of a long story, but I was originally looking at MRR wheels first. Unfortunately I couldn't get what I wanted, but ended up with the LMRs as an alternative that they suggested.
I had plenty of delays along the way, none of it being their fault, and...
So after almost 6 months I finally got the wheels I ordered. I got tyres fitted to them today and said begone to the old anchors with the Pirelli P Zeros.
SVE S350 19x10 all around, fitted with the tried and true MPS4s. Also 275/40 all around.
My initial feedback is that there is a bit of...
Nothing special and no new parts (I'm still waiting on my wheels!), but for the first time since I've owned the car I drove into work with it. A slow Friday means that it was the office gossip of the day!
As an aside, exhaust noises really do bounce around in underground carparks dont they...
So this happened yesterday, but I was too upset to post about it :crying:
Was coming back from a nice holiday and some goose travelling the opposite direction didnt tie their load down properly. Had a nice square piece of wood land in front of the Mustang, which promptly scuffed it up. Overall...
Thanks for the feedback; I suspected that might have been the case with the smaller Buddi unit. Although it could still be a good addition alongside some drying cloths as well... perhaps the Mini unit is the sweetspot.
I've placed the order in for some new wheels (MRR M350s), however they're out of stock for now. So I'm bracing for a 2 month wait for delivery :frown: At least it will give me time to scout out for any tyre deals.
