What's this 1.16 Sync3 Nav upgrade?

well, my daughter's iphone is "carplay" enabled. that could be some of it but I clearly stumbled on getting it to show up with hers still enabled (because I have not thought to disable hers).

well, mine showed up. However, it only showed up when I was connect/using carplay and then toggled carplay to disabled in Sync Settings (while I was still connected to sync on iphone). I then turned turn off the car (mustang 2016), reconnected and waze did not appear. I toggled carplay back...

Agreed - really sets me off this Waze thing (I actually wished Apple would just open up 3rd Party Navs).

I wonder if it could be that I am not using a Facebook linking (cause I am not on Facebook) and using a regular Waze login?

I did all of that - with both cars. I would do a master reset but I know I did that after my last update of Sync 3.0 18025

So waze only works on a (newer leak?) 18039 and not the office 18025 build? There is a fellow on the Waze Forum says it works for him :'(

Well, cycled my version down to v2.3 and back up to official "Sync My Ride" v3 download and no new button colors. Bummer.

Thanks for all those photos ... cause I am jealous. I get those colors on my 2017 Edge but not my 2016 Mustang. Matter of fact, my Edge started with those colors (it came with v2.2). Guess I am going to go back to 2.2 and up to official 3.0.18025 Both my cars started with Full Sync 3 Nav.

The ones I have downloaded (the fusion, my edge '17, my mustang '16) all appear to be the same files with same CRC32 in WinRAR GUI. These are all with Nav (my cars have the Nav option).
