Wonder how streetable the 17x5 would be? I daily drive my 17 GT so just curious if anyone has ran a rim that narrow on the street on an s550? Also curious about the weight. I know they have to be a ton lighter that these PP wheels.
I have two sets of WPT-1492 Pigtails for sale. I was going to splice my wires for my 18 manifold but went with the pnp harness.
$30 shipped.
Thanks
Brandon
By lock out do you mean just unhook the vacuum line and leave the connectors plugged in or should I pull all the imrc junk off the manifold? Also I am 6R80 car, would that F me up on drivability?
Finally got my intake installed and tuned by Palm Beach Dyno. Car drives awesome and power is crazy going up to 7800! Issue that I have is I am using the EODtech harness and I am getting P2005 and P2006. I haven't found anyone with both of these codes together. I think it is a voltage issue and...
I am wondering the same thing. My buddy in his 13' 5.0 6R80 with drag radials and a tune ran 12.20@118. This was in NC In May.
I was hoping someone with the 18 manifold could get the into the 11's on 93 octane.
I'm thinking the same thing. I see a lot of dynos but most people are running E85 or forced induction. I'm going to just be 93 octane with a cold air intake and exhaust. I'm starting to lose interest in putting it on and my just sell the stuff I bought.
I ordered a plug and play harness for my swap. I'm wondering if you can take a vacuum/pressure source and actuate the IMRC solenoids while logging the voltages for open and closed while in the Key on engine off position and entering those values in the tune so the computer has the correct...
Best looking wheels on S550 I've seen. What sizes are you running? I've got to get something lighter than these PP wheels. I had Prostar XPs on my 03 Cobra but I definitely couldn't daily drive a set of polished wheels.
Good cause that's what I ordered. Seems like there is some difference with the size of the 18' JLT because a lot of the reviews are saying they don't fit under the stock hood properly. Maybe that's due to the lower hood of the 18?
I was wondering the same thing. I am auto with 3.15 gears and don't want to kill my low end since I drive 100 miles round trip to work Mon-Thurs. I see you have 3.55 gears.
So to summarize, to keep IMRC with the 18 GT manifold, I need 2 wpt1492 pigtails, a tune, and a cold air intake. Which cold air intake do you get, 15-17 GT or one for 18 GT. Seems weird that there isn't how to thread on this yet.
Thanks Bluemustang. That sounds like a good deal. This is really the most suspension mods I've done to one of my mustangs. My 03 Cobra had H&R Race springs and I did M&M caster camber plates but I guess I lucked up on the alignment because it always drove straight and smooth but it was...
