My 2017 has this issue at the driver side door window trim, but the TSB doesn’t include 2017’s. Would they address it at a dealership even though it’s outside the affected model years listed in the TSB?

I put heat shrink over the spades. Great minds think alike! Won't be water tight, but will hopefully help.

Thanks. I borrowed a different style of crimper and got some spade terminals with a smaller "neck" on them. That brand was the brand of the trailer diodes. Should be good to go.

Those of you that used the Hopkins diode kits, did you crimp with the insulation on the spade terminals or pull them out, crimp and then replace the insulation? And, can I get by with this for crimping, or do I need a different crimp tool? (Attached image) I’m still not that great at...

Been a while on this, but it was my oil pressure sensor. I took it out, sealed the threads and put it back in. No more leak.

I tested this out with a camera in the car so I could monitor whether or not it shut off via the LED on the amp. You were both right. It did shut off. Now I need to figure out why my battery was weak. Thanks for your input guys.

Doesn’t the stock amp shut off when you shut the door? Would the trunk being open prevent it from turning off?

In my manual, it says it's the "gateway module" on fuse 15. Is that AKA "OBD2" or is the "gateway module" something different? Any idea?

I have this OBD2 power issue right now, as well. My fuse 15 was one of those three-legged fuses, and one side of that was blown. I got a new fuse, put it in and still no power at OBD2. Need to check again and see if the replacement immediately blew.

Oh man... I have this issue on my 2017 now, too. Wish you'd found out! I've replaced a fuse and no luck. Still trying.

Been watching YouTube videos about it. One suggested disconnecting the battery and connecting the positive and negative battery cables for 10 seconds. Tried it. Still no power at the OBD2. Cleaned up the negative battery terminal while I was at it.
