I have a RWD e63amg with Renntech tuning and downpipes and a gt350 that only has an aftermarket exhaust. The AMG out-accelerates the gt350 on straights, but the gt350 out handles the AMG and the Cobra feels more planted. The AMG is great for autobahn type drives, the gt350 is more fun to drive...
We are in a golden age of horsepower and performance...the best since the late 60’s & early 70’s. The nature of cars will change drastically in coming years...so if you like large displacement naturally-aspirated high performance vehicles with wailing exhausts, seize the day!
"How damn good is a GT350?" I thought I'd keep my 12k mile 911 X51 Carrera S for a long time. I had modded it to my liking over the course of a couple of years. It is gone. I don't miss it. And I am happy with the GT350.
