Ya but it was weird when I talk to the advisor because the main one I was working with is on vacation. But basically they were saying cylinders 2&3.

Update: just got a call from dealer, it was not just the head gasket and Ford approved for a new long block. My car has always been stock and never tuned, thank God for warranty......

Thanks for the thread! and ya thats prob my issue but I was getting a few other symptoms during driving and performance loss so Ill have to wait and see. That guy has had his tuned since he broke it in. Mines been stock and never touched which makes it odd I thought I would be safe, guess not.

Thought i should share my recent problems with my stock 2016 mustang ecoboost. The engine has never been tuned and all I have done is cosmetic stuff and a drop in K&N air filter with exhaust (Stock Downpipe). I recently hit 40k miles, always changed my oil between 4-5k miles with mobile 1 full...

Mod Auto in Fullerton, very professional and you schedule online and they set your time so you know exactly when to drop and pick up your car. They do a lot of aftermarket stuff and Ive had nothing but good experiences their. They also go by Mod Bargains its weird but just look up both online.

I was chatting with a Ford Performance Rep online and he implied the same thing as they cover to 36k but will not void the 60k powertrain warranty as long as they prove the parts installed did not play a factor into the damage. So in a sense yes they could cover it but in reality I even said...

I may still go the Ford tune just because its safer than the others. However you got a GT! ecoboom is a serious issue :shrug:

Currently at 37k miles and warranty seems to cover only 36k not the 60k powertrain. Talked to a ford rep and he said it would only not be covered if its the tunes fault however, we both know ford blames tunes for an AC going out lol. So i think its pointless to get the Ford Tune for me.

Have a 2016 EB and looking to tune my car, however i read thread after thread of ecobooms all stemming from tuned engines so right now trying to get a feel for any really good reliable tunes out there. I maintain the car very well and treat it with care but for some reason hesitant on tuning it...
