The adapter is just because the GT350 exhaust is 2.5” and the GT is 2.25”. If you’re on a GT, the clamp won’t accomodate that increase so you need to buy a coupler to go from 2.25” to 2.5”.
If the touring mufflers don’t have the motors for the adaptive part, you’d need to go the route of...
I purchased a stock GT350 exhaust and added an IKON GT350 valance. Much cheaper than buying the Ford Performance by Borla exhausts, or fatback exhaust in general. Didn’t save any weight, but it sounds wicked.
Digging up an old thread, but hoping I can follow this same technique to install my GT350 diffuser. I thought I came across an install video previously not needing to remove the bumper, but maybe that was just a dream
I know I have seen on here before someone adding a second row of LEDs into the same module, but not utilize the same lights.
It was either shift lights or he hooked it to his radar detector. Can't remember anymore.

I thought I would have to “hack them up” in order to wire them to a switch. The stock exhaust i thought was linked to an exhaust switch on the GT350 that I wouldn’t have on my GT. So to do that, I would need to crack the motors open to add wiring to run to a switch (at least, that’s what I think...
Thanks Benny. Thats a painful price, especially when I need 2, and then have to hack them up.
Do you know if they sell the components from the Ford Performance by Borla (ie: the motors and the keyfob/wiring?) - thats effectively exactly what I need to build.
Hey Guys,
I tried searching to find my answers, but no dice. I’m trying to track down where I can buy the exhaust actuators from the GT350. I picked up a GT350 exhaust to install on my GT, but would like to have the option of being “active”. The plan would be to mod the motor to hook up to a...
