Yeah mate, same thinking here. The manuals are tremec standard I thought? can’t work out if the Aus spec comes with the 480bhp or the Eu spec, if it ends up just being a badged GT with watered down features then I’ll pass.

I’ll be putting a deposit down tomorrow. Once details come out about the handling package or lack of, I’ll work out if it’s worth going ahead and modding to compensate or look at standard GT and upgrade.

The handling package is US only..? That would royally vex me if true.

Just dropped into my dealers, $2k deposit with pricing coming out 22nd October, roughly $80k+, orders officially go in 23-28 1-2 units allocated per dealer. With delivery slated for April.

I am hoping for around $80k once optioned. R-spec was just over $100k and that came with the supercharger and was limited edition. Still waiting on information coming back, I requested to order so should be getting prices back from my dealer.

Glad I waited, made contact to order a JFG Manual Mach 1 with handling/appearance package/elite package. The Mach 1 being released in Australia convinced me, I test drove a few cars this last week the Supra also featured but just felt a little too clinical and manufactured in the engine note...

That's the beauty of Australia, I am certain I would be able to find a dealership with a 2020 model in stock. Might not be 100% the spec I want. Although unless they completely lose the plot, any refreshed GT won't be drastically different from the current offering. So I think waiting is the...

Yeah I had been reading that thread when it was posted too. :) At least we now have an approximate timeline. I will be sitting tight till they open order books for sure now.

If it does, great, if not then at least the new colours will be available for order. Hoping it does though, I'd settle for sync 4.

I have been waiting for more information to filter out, holding out on ordering till they announce either way. The colours were already announced, just a matter of time till they pop up on the build vehicle section on fords website.

Really wish more spy shots started to pop up, sitting here waiting to order but holding out for a possible revised/refreshed model in 2021 is the equivalent to sitting a kid down with a marshmallow on a plate saying 'Don't eat it and you get two in an hour...' :computerrage:

And now after much reading, I am going to sit and wait. :crazy: Seems everything is in a state of limbo and I would be loathed to order only to find out there is a refresh for 2021.
