i have the same exact issue with the Airaid box, bolt wont come out and just spins and i had to spin the plastic shield around and it chewed the plastic but didnt create a gap fortunately. pretty crappy design flaw, i hope they address it on future products.

bought mine from LMR, 1 side started losing LEDs within a couple of months, LMR replaced them with another set but i had to cover the shipping. this was common with DD's first set, then they fixed it

you need a spring compressor. if you arent familiar with doing it, take it somewhere, dont get killed by a spring
