  1. Brake squeal fixed. Solution.

oooh...good to know. Good thing I kept those Hawk pads. Do all these pads need some kind of dampener behind the pads?
  2. Brake squeal fixed. Solution.

Thanks. I tried the spray before and it worked temporarily and squeal returned after a while. The guy at the shop who said he's been in car business his entire life said the squeal cannot be made from the pad on rotor or dust generated but the back side of the pad resonating against another...
  3. Brake squeal fixed. Solution.

Finally the annoying brake squeal is fixed at local shop after couple attempts at Ford dealer failed with "it's normal performance brake noise" type of nonsense response. After being fed up with the brake noise at slow stops I took it to the local garage and the guy knew right away how to fix...
  4. End of production of Shelby GT350/R after 2020. Will resale price climb?

Ford has announced this is the last production year for GT350. No more flat plane crank naturally aspirated Voodoo manual shift best ever Mustang in history. This GT350/R may very well be the last of its kind more sought after than GT500 in the future for its manual transmission and engine. To...
  5. GT350 will live past 2019 with GT500 engine block!

I'm not sure how that is a good news. What's the difference between GT500 and GT350 if they both have same engines? It just makes GT350 poor man's GT500. The thing that makes GT350 special is flat plane crank. From the perspective of 2015-2019 GT350 it is a good news since the resale value will...
  6. Depreciation/long-term value?

All I'm saying is that there's nothing like GT350. Do you remember how much big deal Ford made about "Flat Plane Crank" and how it compares to Ferrari and RPM revs up to 8200 etc etc when first GT350 came out? It even made Jay Leno buy a separate engine alone for his garage display. Now that...
  7. Depreciation/long-term value?

Looks like Mustang GT350 will become a collectors item after all. The last of manual transmission with flat plane crank revving up to 8200RPM. Just to have high horse power Mustang has given up the essence of muscle car....RPM, Sound, and Manual control. Price of GT350 will sure skyrocket after...
  8. Is adding stripes bad idea?

I have 2016 GT350 track pack in shadow black. Will adding stripes aftermarket decrease its value? Can Ford dealership add stripes as done in the factory?
  9. What is the normal oil pressure at startup for GT350?

I just had recall notice 16S40 performed at a dealership. Now the oil pressure at cold startup in the morning (about 60 degrees here at SoCal) reads at around 100 lbs on that round gauge in the dashboard. If I rev the engine up to about 3000 rpm the pressure goes up to 125 and higher...
