David, it is you I had dealings with in 2017 and 2018. Sam Bakalich and co did the install in Auckland with exhaust, cold intake and tune. The drone was there from day one, a local performance upgrades suggested by Sam verifies the drone. He said he wouldn’t drive the car with it. We last...
The sound tube was removed on exhaust install.
Drone does die away after 2,000 rpm but is quite active from 1,250 to 2,000, my wife hates that part.
My SF is moderately loud, as loud as I am comfortable with and I also have a couple of harleys where I have to select which WOF place will pass...
Guys
Just a response from a user.
I have the Streetfighter full exhaust, tune, the Ford performance 2 plus option, as well as the handling kit. I also have the 3.73 rear gearing (more on that later).
I have not driven a stock Mustang as I got this all put on by CTB Performance in NZ. So I...
The only experience I have had in bring in vehicles is with Motorcycles. However it is sort of a case of bring in and prepare. Yes your car will neede compliance testing when you arrive so just let them check it and they'll reject what they want. If you still have the OEM set up then throw...
Beautiful car. Something about that white with the red or blue stripes. Just looks so crisp.
It's taken them 50 years to make them in RHD, the 350'll be another 50.
or get a new Streetfighter exhaust straight out of CTB Performance in Auckland. It is designed for the RHD mustangs, designed and made in Australia.
I've got one coming on my mustang that I am picking up TOMORROW.
Yep but I think those differences that will stop us buying the wrong bits (our cars are not stock american) plus useful confirmed tips on subjects such as spare tyre that have caused others to research. Just the end summary really.
Seeing quite a few NZ spec'd mozzies around now.
Really enjoying reading the journey your going through. Keep it up, especially enjoying your reasoning side.
(PS, I'm doing almost the same as you but with reverse logic, yes I am part of the dark out magnetic group but that's me before my muzzy)
The contoured shape looks great. I really like the 350 look. I agree with the others it sticks out a little far on the edges. Looks low, have you tried it with the PP suspension pack for clearance? Here the PP front is stock on the GT. Interested but shipping could be a killer
You could be right, as I said I may be well out of date with recent announcements.
Whatever happens if the touring car championship is to servive by being relevant, beyond a couple of years there will need to be changes.
I've got beer, I've got chips, I'm waiting
I'd love to see a V8 Mustang running and hope it does. IMHO, it'll be just as interesting to see what Holden will be running if anything at all. Production is stopping in a few months, surely they will announce what, if anything they will replace the V8 commodore with and that may hold the key...
Love the side pipes, generally like everything about it with one exception, all those tail lights. Couldn't we just keep it to three each side?
But that's just my opinion and I get change from a 5 cent coin.
