We get powered Recaros in Australia curiously, no heated/cooled function though. 2019 GT

I noticed a great feature that has changed in the 2019 manual 6 speed, it resumes your set cruise control speed after gear changes. My 18 didn’t. Australian model.

One other change in the manual 19 vs 18 (I’ve had both) is the 19 resumes your set cruise control speed after gear changes. A small thing but the way it should be.

I just had my manual 18 replaced with a manual 19 (engine failure) and noticed the 19 actually resumes cruise control speed after changing gears. By far my favourite update. I’m in Australia so not sure whether it’s the same stateside? I think we have the equivalent of a 400a, powered Recaros etc.

Is anyone here running Koya 19x11 295 or 305s on the rear? I’m wanting to put my existing rear 275x40x19s Michelins on the front on 19x9.5 as they’re brand new. Also are 19x11 legal in Qld up from 19x9.5? Cheers

No problem. Granted it is pretty stiff in sport plus mode but normal mode is significantly softer. All the best with your purchase.

Welcome! My 2 cents, I would highly recommend MagneRide suspension. I have it and it’s a bargain. Check panel gaps, especially bonnet. Check wind noise above 100kph from both doors. Good luck

Hey Pks, Yeah they did, had Opticoat/tint etc.. They’re paying for my 19 to be done $ for $ Didn’t even have to ask. Family has bought 3 cars from them in the last year so that may have helped.

Same happened to mine. 5th gear on cruise control 110kph except i was on the highway no shoulder, fucking horrible! Called traffic response unit to sit behind me until tow truck arrived. Top end gone, threw a valve. They said they’d replace the whole engine, I insisted on a brand new 2019 GT...

The Recaros are superb, you’ll love them.

Hey Jack, here’s a photo of mine, it’s a lever. The rest is powered. I’d recommend checking out both Recaros and the standard seats at a dealership as you may get the standard seats forward and back further, just a guess.

A mate has an 18 and is struggling to get into 2nd occasionally, I agree it’s not necessarily shift fork, I think that will either just break or it won’t, think mine is either clutch or synchro related. Taking it in early for the 3k service. 5 year warranty. Thank f%#k!
