When the new GT500 (and possibly the GT350) with the 7Speed DCT beome more prevalent
and start showing up on tracks around the country, I wonder how long the "manual or bust"
crowd will hold out when they consistently find themselves in the "runner up" position.
The annoying part of the delay is that the GT500 will be on a 5 year old body when it finally arrives.
And, with the S650 due as a 2021 model year, most Mustang fans will be more interested in the newer
model...especially now that rumors have suggested the S650 may be available with all wheel drive.
You've made a good point. I was around for the first Mustang and have watched it through all generations. Each new restyle would have a few styling cues from the
first year. Then, in the 2005my, Ford really got into the "retro" look and is still at it.
I really wish that Ford would move on...
This is what I did to make it work for my car...went to the local hardware store and purchased
a M6-1.0 (metric) threaded rod, a M6-1.0 wing nut and a 1/2" insulated metal cable clamp.
Placed the cable clamp around the threaded rod of jack with the flat side of the clamp facing up:

Something has gone wrong in Dearborn. We all know that this new GT500 (or whatever they plan
to call it) has been in planning and engineering phase for years..we have been seeing a disguised
prototype testing with a Camaro and a Porsche....last year. If indeed it will still be another year...
When the first factory Shelbys arrived in 2007, they eclipsed the 2004 Cobra by 120 horsepower
(380 vs 500), and then gradually increased the "Condor" engine by 50HP to 550 by the end of
it's run in 2012. When the "Trinity" debuted in 2013, it eclipsed the "Condor" by 112HP (to 662).
Wouldn't...
Your instincts about Hackett are on the mark...this article appeared Dec 22 on the
website www.thevirtualdriver.com:
"Just as we were about to write a few road tests and put this issue to bed, an unexpected call changed everyyhing. It forced us to stop what we were doing and
start making...
I'm intrigued by the lack of any kind of rear spoiler. In all other prototypes, we have seen
large spoilers of various types. Could this be an early engineering prototype for the next
generation S650 model? 2020my is fast approaching!
Have read much discussion on whether to buy '17 or wait for improvements on '18. Since mine is
to be a daily driver, figured color would be important..and already heard Grabber Blue would
not be available at start of MY2018. I had 2011 Grabber Blue and got more compliments on that
car (color)...

Using your reasoning, wouldn't POWER steering, POWER brakes, POWER windows
also be for softies? Bet you haven't disabled any of these features on your car!
