Today’s project was installing the FP track handling kit. OMG what an improvement!

I had to get my hood replaced due to the corrosion issue and instead of the dealership replacing the vinyl hood stripe, they painted it on at no cost to me.

Wore out the rear tires so the stock setup is on now until spring. Definitely rides better and feels

For those that dont know, CDC is California Design Concepts. They are the makers of the Shaker hood conversion for the older body styles.

Well, I finally got around to painting all the louvers since the powder coat was starting to flake off the rear louvers. I sprayed all 3 with semi-gloss black. So much nicer with them all matching now.

Any chance we will ever see a shaker kit for the S550? I know its not for everyone but I think it would look great. I already contacted CDC and was told that there were no plans at this time. Im wondering if the latest kit can be modified to fit.

i just added a strip of 3m tape, out of view, securing tje cap to the valve cover preventing it from loosening. FYI.....the washer fluid cap might contact the body causing a rattling noise which will sound like a dash rattle. Fixed that issue with a little rubber bumper.
