I have some catted mid pipes on the way so that should help.. right?

So to start here is whats on the car, BBK Long Tubes w/ catless midpipes, and 3in Borla S-Type Cat Back. So I have literally tried everything from a whole new exhaust, to retighten the clamps on exhaust to replaceing header gaskets, and I am stumped. Hangers seemed ok, and the bolts holding...

It used to happen just rarely until when I came to a stop heard a super loud ping, like something shot out from underneath. Then that sound came back worse than ever.

No it isnt my first RWD or 4x4, owned multiple trucks before this. 5k miles no noise and then thuds and that bell ding sound worry me.

Yes, just like a bell ding sound. Hopefully I can bring it in, and have it fixed.

Yea same here. But now it is everytime I slow down to a stop, almost every single shift it does it... :frusty:

Any one else experienced this? I have had my Mustang in the shop about 3-4 times now, still no fix. I was driving down the road and I came to a stop, heard a ping and tgen my "clunking when shifting" returned. I was told it was an output flange on the transmission that was loose or something...

Both autos and both stock gears (non pp). so 3.15 I believe... right? Forgive me not being sure on what the ratio is. All new to me..:doh:
