Stock Tesla 100D is said to do the 1/4 in 10.6 so need to aim at that, but modified GT's in the track thread do sub 9 seconds with A6, so a faster shifting A10 might knock 0.1(?) off...

I would think a huge heavy battery pack won't be needed, just one that can send max current to the front wheel motors for a few seconds.
It will be an interesting software tuning job to optimize takeoff performance of this hybrid!
Main reason for the hybrid AWD Mustang is to be competitive with Tesla in getting up to speed, not fuel economy.
We need to stay focused on this goal.

As another poster mentioned, Tesla should be the target. 0-60 in 2.4 seconds.
We need AWD to do this, not more wheel spinning RWD torque.
Since Raj drives his in the winter, as I do, he is abundantly aware that we need AWD to get off the line fast under slippery conditions.
