Update: I removed the old emblems and got everything cleaned off. Hey came off pretty easily and both the pony and GT emblem completely removed itself from the tape with a good pull. The tape was easy to get off the car with a plastic scraper and some WD-40. I sent them in so here's to hoping...

In terms of alternatives for the black gloss pony and GT emblems, what have people used successfully?

I wonder if there is a way to remedy this?? I mean, obviously the adhesive sticks to the vehicle just fine. It's sticking to the emblem where it has problems. Would dabbing glue in there work at all?

For anyone wondering what we're talking about, I made an attempt at uploading a picture of it. It's sideways but that's the horse tail lifting from the tape.

I'm going to see how they second set of CJPP parts do. If they fail again, I'll get a refund and check out those MAK ones.

So it seems CJPP authorized a return for me. I'll have to remove the current emblems, drive around without a front or back emblem for like a week and look like a moron, and then get my new ones. Hopefully those will work out.

Yes I didn't that same for all my emblems! I was paranoid about this and did absolutely everything I could to prevent it and it still happened! I contacted CJPP to see if anything can be done because I fear this thing is going to fall of soon. It's come off more this morning when I checked.

So upon checking, it seems that the ponytail logo's pegs are extremely short. To the point where they hardly stick out from the back of the grille. Is that sufficient enough to use the retainers?

D'oh!! I followed the video that CJPP did and I didn't need see him use them. If I install retainers, will it hold that piece in even though the tape is backing off?
