I bought my car in Texas, paid my local tax rate there they sent it to DMV. Had the car smogge d, filled out the form for inspection and had DMV inspect made an appointment for registration simple if you follow the process.
Very impressive times, I usually only get there when its hot anymore. I talked to Emilio at Buttonwillow in November we were there for the PCA event the following days, He was driving very well there. At some point I will be at the same event as you guys with the GT350 and leave the GT3.
Getting ready to install mine this week. Talked to a friend yesterday he said his first trip to the track after instillation of his he had issues and turned it off. Anyone else having any issues.
The latest on mine they got a new bumper cover but it was not an acceptable fit and another was ordered. They painted it today and will be reinstalled Monday. Good thing I have a GT3 to track in the mean time.
The latest on mine is the new brackets did not improve very much and the shop was asking Ford to authorize a bumper cover. Still waiting for news on fit of new bumper. Off to race again this weekend so won't know anything until next Tuesday.
I bought the car outside of Dallas and I live in San Diego so it is a local dealer I'm dealing with. Ford told them today replace the coolant sending unit so they will do that and give me an answer Monday on the bumper.
I took my car in the other day because I had a check engine light again third time. Since it was there I had them look at the gap in the rear bumper. They said today they had their guy check it and he claims it is due to impact, it has been like this since day one I had just been putting up with...
I totally agree about a statement from Hoosier but since I can't get the needed data now I need to find a good starting point where I will not ruin another set of tires in first session. Last time I ran a front engine car it weighed 2700 and was better balanced. The GT350 was very fast last...
Stuntman, my first thought was more camber but having about 3neg now, I think it is more low tire pressure and going to hard too fast. I think I may try a stiffer rear sway bar and have hot pressures over 40 as Hoosier recommends.
