Ok, so to just clarify what you have stated above. If I buy this and put this into my stock GT - if the oil cooler fails and destroys the engine, SF will only cover the oil cooler failure?
Hang on, it caught fire? I assume you let Ford know or you didn't bother because it happened on a track? Ford have said that they will replace/fix failed oil coolers. So not sure why spending money on a replacement is a good idea?
If the oil cooler goes with the SF system on it - I am...
We use 433Mhz sensors which can be had for about $200 a set.
When I was looking at buying a set of wheels from the US - they were going to include the 433Mhz sensors as well - so maybe that is an option for you as well?
Carbon steering wheel on
Been making changes for 2 months now, this one is one of my favourites as I get to touch and see it all the time. Second favourite are the wheels :)
Anyways - thanks to Tim Beith Performance Parts - quality, look and feel of this wheel is amazing.
Probably get in trouble for this post.. anyways..
I have big worm stripes that I am not going to use. Wide Full Length stripes, gloss black. Also have gloss white and gloss red pin stripes enough to cover both sides of the stripes, couldn't make up my mind. Ended up not doing at all. Roof...
This was yesterday, today I just enjoyed myself driving it.
New Vorteiner VFF-105 wheels on. Lowered on Eibach Sportlines, MBRP Street Catback exhaust on.
Test fitted spoiler too last night. Nearly done with mods now.
Pretty terrible at taking photos, but anyways :)
Tyres need a clean...
That is correct. I also brought this up with them and didn't really give me a response.
Obviously the only way around it - use a freight forwarder in the US. You just have to work out if it is cheaper doing it that way with the discount etc. I have used Myus.com for a few things now and so...
The difference is in the bonnet bracket. The non-domestic is shorter to only fit our mustangs with the active bonnet release thing. Everything else is the same in the kits.
I unfortunately ordered the domestic one - whilst they fit and it all works, it is not perfect so have since ordered...
Picked up today.
Absolutely sensational car, nothing more can be said about it. Grabber Blue with the black roof has exceeded my expectations and so glad I changed from Race Red to it.
Finally needed to take the plunge. Went with Famous.
$1192, 650 excess, agreed value 68.5k. 43 year old man. Full no claim discount, no at fault accidents.
Garaged, daily driver.
No unnamed drivers. Though they did say to call them if a friend wanted to drive, just as long as they weren't...
Well seems the car has arrived and the dealer commented that he wished he had my information - I laughed and said it isn't that hard to keep track of it.
Anyways, they are going to try their hardest to get it to me by Saturday.
Has anyone who was on the Fidelio and delivered to Sydney heard from their dealer on a delivery date yet?
My fantastic dealer just told me the car is due to arrive at port on the 29th April, he was quite surprised to know that CEVA has moved the car this morning from Port Kembla to Granville.
I have only bought 2 new cars. One Mazda, I liked the guy was really helpful but the wait was only 2 weeks. Toyota.. 3 month wait for an 86, kept me informed every few weeks as to where it is at, even called me before Christmas to wish me a Merry Christmas and to tell me it wouldn't be long now...
That's because the sales guys are oh so busy. It ain't that hard for the stock controller or someone else at each dealership to check these maybe once a fortnight, or even once a month - we aren't asking for a daily update.
I have not heard at all from my dealer since the purchase was signed...
They are the vehicle deliverers from the port to your dealer.
